Is the university I graduated from considered important?
The university name will not advantage or disadvantage your application in any way during the hiring process. We hire individuals from a variety of different academic backgrounds every year.
Can I apply even though I have already graduated?
You may apply if you have already graduated from university, graduate school, vocational school, junior college, or technical college, whether in Japan or overseas, and wish to be hired under the same framework as applicants who will be graduating. We accept applicants with or without work experience.

Where are your work locations?
For TOMY Company and T-ARTS, you will basically work in Tokyo (Katsushika-ku). You may work at our overseas business locations in the future. For TOMY TEC, you will work at its head office and plant in Tochigi Prefecture or its office in Tokyo (Katsushika-ku). For TOMY MARKETING, you will work at its head office in Tokyo (Katsushika-ku) for the first year. From the second year onward, you may be transferred to its business location in Osaka. For KIDDY LAND, even though its head office is located in Tokyo, non-career track employees may be transferred to stores in the suburbs of Tokyo and Osaka, while career track employees may be transferred to stores across Japan.
Will my job category be changed after joining the company, e.g., from a technical position to a corporate position?
While you will be initially assigned to the corresponding department in line with your job category, you may be assigned to other departments later in your career depending on your aptitude.

What are days off and leave like?
For TOMY Company, T-ARTS, TOMY TEC, and TOMY MARKETING, there will be 125 days off a year. In addition, 10 days of paid leave will be granted in the first year. For KIDDY LAND, there will be 107 days off a year, and 10 days of paid leave will be granted in the first year. Other types of leave common to all Group companies include congratulatory/condolence leave, childcare leave, nursing care leave, etc. Some companies have introduced sabbatical leave and anniversary leave systems to encourage employees to take paid leave.

How are you supporting employees in striking a balance between childcare and work?
We have introduced a work-from-home system that allows all employees to work from home (*excluding KIDDY LAND). In addition, for employees returning from childcare leave and employees who are balancing childcare and work, we have established a consultation system involving in-house counselors, including those with childcare experience. The number of male employees taking parental leave has also increased. Are you taking any action on environmental issues?
