The TOMY Group is committed to promoting compliance across the entire Group based on One TOMY's Promise, “Our sincerity and diligence will contribute to society and lead to our own success and happiness.” This commitment encompasses observing our company policy, the rule of law and good common sense, competing honestly, and following fair trade practice. We have established a desk to receive reports and consultations from our business partners, aiming to detect and prevent compliance issues at an early stage. If any of our business partners discover human rights violations or specific compliance violations, please use the whistleblowing and consultation desk below.

1. Whistleblowing and consultation desk

2. Important Information for use

(1) Eligible users

The whistleblowing and consultation desk can only be used by officers, employees, and sole proprietors (freelancers) working for business partners of TOMY Group companies within Japan (including those whose business relationship ended within the past year).

(2) Required information

Information confirming the business relationship (name, contact details such as email address or phone number, name of the TOMY Group company with which you have a business relationship, etc.) is required.

(3) Items eligible for reporting

Reporting is limited to actions by TOMY Group employees that violate or may violate laws and regulations or our various policies (TOMY Group Code of Business Conduct, TOMY Group Human Rights Policy, TOMY Group Responsible Procurement Guidelines, etc.).

(4) Corrective/disciplinary action

Investigations will be conducted from a neutral and impartial standpoint. Please note that corrective and/or disciplinary action will not necessarily be taken.

3. Protection of whistleblowers

(1) Respect for the privacy of whistleblowers, etc.

Information that identifies individuals will not be disclosed to third parties inside or outside the company, except when necessary for investigation or corrective action. Confidentiality obligations are imposed on all parties involved in investigations, etc.

(2) Prohibition of disadvantageous treatment

No disadvantageous treatment, such as termination of business relationships, will occur due to reporting.

4. Reporting method

When reporting, performing steps (1) to (3) below constitutes your consent to the collection of your personal information.

5. Response process

(1) Receive report

The department responsible for compliance at the head office of TOMY Group will receive the report, review its contents, and contact the whistleblower if necessary.

(2) Determine whether to investigate

The need for an investigation will be determined based on the content of the report.

(3) Conduct investigation

The investigation will be conducted by the department responsible for compliance at the head office or at the relevant Group company.

(4) Implement corrective action

Corrective and remedial actions will be implemented as necessary based on the investigation results to address any negative impacts.

(5) Report and improve

The whistleblower will be informed of the status and effectiveness of the implemented measures, and efforts will be made to improve and address the situation.
