GreenGrown brand team
The GreenGrown initiative began in 2019 as a way to reinvent the Take & Toss brand of reusable toddler feeding products. Consumers and retailers were beginning to seek our brands and products that were better for the environment. Our GreenGrown products use renewable raw materials in place of fossil fuels to help reduce green house gas emissions.
Since the launch of GreenGrown, we’ve expanded these sustainability initiatives to include the reduction of not only the amount of plastic used in packaging but also how much packaging is used overall. We’ve also begun to explore the use of recycled polypropylene in our larger plastic-items- bath tubs, potty seats, and feeding seats.
These are all small steps toward a healthier future.

We researched alternatives to petroleum-derived plastic and presented some of the results at events in 2023.

We worked to reduce the amount of single-use plastics in product packaging.

We identified medium- to long-term risks and opportunities to address climate change, and posted them on our website.

We calculated CO2 emissions throughout TOMY Group operations; currently setting long-term reduction targets.

With 1 year left from achieving our targets and KPIs.
Moving forward,
we will continue to carry out initiatives to
achieve our goal,
become friends with children
around the world.
